A visit to Kimta Lake is always a good idea. Throughout the days of summer at Kimta Lake highs are frequently in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Kimta Lake. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Olympic Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. Camping at Campbell Tree Grove Campground is always a delightful experience, and Olympic

Kimta Lake is a wet place that gets a great deal of rainfall; all through the month of December you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is July. Kimta Lake is located in the Olympic Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Graves Creek Campground is a good site to do that. there's some flowing water nearby, South Fork Kimta Creek is a stream you can go to while here. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Quinault River - North Fork, and great hiking is available along the Hoh River Trail. Just can't
get enough of Kimta Lake. Paddling on Quinault River is so much fun, and one of the principal features of the surroundings of Kimta Lake is Kimta Peak. Very delightful scenery and splendid skiing is what you get at Hurricane Ridge
Ski Lodge, and a glorious nearby hotel is Lake Quinault Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Hidden Valley Motel is a great site to spend a night or two, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Kimta Lake; Elwha River Trail is a pleasant local trail.
