A great place for whitewater paddling close to Lake Kathleen is Cedar River, and after a long day outdoors Motel 6 is a glorious place to spend a night or two. Any time is a pleasant time at Lake Kathleen if you go for the outdoors. If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Green River; a nice site to camp here at Lake Kathleen is Issaquah Highlands Camping Club. At Lake Kathleen during       the summertime highs are in the 70's, and the nighttime is slightly chillier of course, ordinarily in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are usually in the 40's with temperatures at Lake Kathleen dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. Enjoy a round of golf at Golf Club at Newcastle not far from Lake Kathleen, and Mount Rainier National Park is a very good place to take a look at. Why not camp at Riverbend Mobile and RV Park while you're here                  at Lake Kathleen, and if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Seattle-Issaquah, Wa is a good choice. You're sure to come across some fine folks from Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue here; on a beautiful day you can check out Alexander Beach. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Lake McDonald; at Lake Kathleen you can make out Cedar Mountain. This lake is so wonderful.
