June Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. These mountains rock, just explore all the entertaining stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. You'll need more than a day to discover everything June Lake has to offer, you can camp at Beaver Bay Campground. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area close to June Lake has to offer. A picturesque lake like Swift Reservoir right next door to June

| | Lake is a perfect place to go to, and there's glorious hiking along the Pine Creek Trail. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Cascade Range. Muddy River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby, and you can stay the night at Cougar Park. Lake during the wintertime usually fall into the 30's. Shoestring Glacier is something you shouldn't miss if you're here at June Lake; hiking is a popular thing to do around June Lake; Smith Creek Trail is a perfect local trail. June
Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range. Paddling on Siouxon Creek is so much fun, and Bonneville Hot Springs Resort is a great location to get some rest. June Lake regularly gets a lot of rainfall; most of the rain falls
throughout December; July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Do go to Spirit Lake in close proximity to June Lake, it's a striking lake; wonderful hiking is available along the Saint Helens Way.

McBride Lake
 | 2/3 of the lake is gone. Kalama River now flows right thru the middle of what used to be the lake. It is amazing to see. The 8100 road is washed out at mile 11 so plan on a 2 mile walk....McBride Lake is no longer in existance. Though I will have this confirmed on July 23, 2008. It is my understanding that during the 2007/2008 winter, a massive land slide occurred which filled the lake.
