Whitewater paddling is great on Stehekin River; why not take a refreshing hike along the Rainbow Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Driveway Butte Trail; there are other places here than Lake Juanita, for example Louis Lake. The amount of precipitation that falls at Lake Juanita is close to the national average;       through December this area sees the most snow, and the driest of the months is July. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. A brilliant place in close proximity to Lake Juanita is Purple Pass, and do take a hike on the Duncan Hill Trail. And if that's not enough there's a lot more exciting stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Flick Creek Campground is a great local campground; if you need a place to stay Adventure Inn is a splendid                  choice. Man, is there a load of enjoyable things to do close to Lake Juanita. Moore Point Campground is a good campground nearby, and if the weather is delightful, you obtain a magnificent view of Boulder Butte from Lake Juanita. Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range. Get drenched paddling on Entiat River, and not far from Lake Juanita you'll hit upon Triplet Lakes which is a delightful lake. Throughout the warm days of summer at Lake Juanita temperatures are regularly in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's.
