There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Northern Cascade Range. So much exciting stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range, not enough time. The scenery at Sawns Mill Pond Dam in the neighborhood of Lake Joy is stunning. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Joy has to offer, you can camp at Tolt River John Macdonald Park. If you get bored of Lake Joy, you could also have a       look at close by Swans Mill Pond. There's so much to do here at Lake Joy that you need to camp here for a while, Snoqualmie River Campgrounds is a good site for that. A magnificent nearby hotel is Best Western Sky Valley Inn; soar down the rapids of Tolt River in a kayak. Man, is there a heap of exciting things to do in the neighborhood of Lake Joy. Moss Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to, and an afternoon playing golf at Carnation Golf Course & Driving                  Range is always a diversion. Summertime at Lake Joy arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and the nighttime is a little colder of course, typically in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Lake Joy dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Salish Lodge And Spa is a great choice, and if you come at the right time of year, Snoqualmie River offers some good whitewater.
