An average amount of rainfall falls at Lake Joy; all through the month of December you get the most rain around here, and July is when it's the driest. Why not camp at Tolt River John Macdonald Park while you're here at Lake Joy, and Snoqualmie River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. Through the summer months at Lake Joy highs are ordinarily in the 70's with nighttime lows in the       50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Lake Joy are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tolt River, and after a long day outdoors Summit Lodge at Snoqualmie Pass is a glorious spot to spend a night or two. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Swans Mill Pond, and Sawns Mill Pond                  Dam is pretty. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. If you came for an overnight stay Snoqualmie River Campgrounds is a magnificent place to camp, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Carnation Golf Course & Driving Range is around here. Lake Joy is a beautiful lake in the Northern Cascade Range. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. So much cool stuff in the Northern Cascade Range, just incredible. This is a good region for people who like lakes.
