This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Willow Springs Motel near EWU is a delightful choice, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Mud Lake. Through the summertime months,       highs generally are in the 80's at Johns Pond, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Johns Pond. Johns Pond is pretty dried out generally; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow, and July is when it's the driest. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites CHENEY-UNIVERSITY AREA is a nice site to get some rest.
