Williams Lake Resort is a delightful local campground; a delightful close by hotel is Willow Springs Motel near EWU. During the warmest time of the year highs here at Johns Pond get into the 80's with night lows in the 40's. For the period of the winter the highs are generally in the 30's; night lows at Johns Pond all through the winter generally dip into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.       Johns Pond is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Peaceful Pines Camp Ground is a great spot to camp nearby, and Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites CHENEY-UNIVERSITY AREA is a wonderful spot to get some rest. While you're here at Johns Pond, you could also pop by pretty Mud Lake; Johnsons Beach is a beach close by that you can pop by. That right there is loads already, but it continues; Johns Pond has it all. If you want to go to some exciting stuff,                  go to Castle Rock; you'll find a picturesque lake called Rock Lake.
