Beautiful Johnny Lakes has much to offer visitors. All through the long summer days at Johnny Lakes highs are generally in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are ordinarily in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Johnny Lakes. Johnny Lakes is ordinarily a relatively waterless site; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow; July is the month with the least

So many exciting things in the Northern Cascade Range, just fantastic. You get a brilliant view of Lost Peak from Johnny Lakes. There's so much to do here at Johnny Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Ballard Campground is a fine place for that. And that's not all you can do here in the Northern Cascade Range. which is a great hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Sun Mountain Lodge is a great place to spend a night or two, and do go to Rampart Lake, it's a stunning lake.
On a great day at Johnny Lakes you
can take a hike along the Monument Creek Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Johnny Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Gate Creek Campground. But wait, there's more to do near Johnny Lakes. The Boundary Trail
is a good hiking trail in the vicinity of Johnny Lakes, and get covered with water paddling on Methow River. Freestone Inn And Cabins is a great site to get some rest, and paddling on Lost River is so much fun.
