Lost Peak is scenic and can be made out from Johnny Lakes, and get soaked paddling on Methow River. So much amusing stuff to do here at Johnny Lakes, too glorious to be true. Lakes are pleasant; Cougar Lake is a lake that's close to Johnny Lakes, and not far from Johnny Lakes you'll stumble on Hidden Lakes which is a lovely lake. Now, you may think that's a load but there's even more cool stuff to do here       in the Northern Cascade Range. Stay the night at Ballard Campground; you can go for a hike on the Monument Creek Trail. Gate Creek Campground is a great campground nearby, and there's glorious hiking along the Driveway Butte Trail. Johnny Lakes is located in the Northern Cascade Range. High temperatures at Johnny Lakes throughout the months of summer are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; nighttime                  lows throughout the wintertime for Johnny Lakes tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Lost River is so much fun; great hiking is available along the Boundary Trail. It is very dehydrated here at Johnny Lakes usually; December is the wettest month with most snow; the driest month is July. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place!
