All year is a great time in the Northern Cascade Range if you fancy the outdoors. Hiking along the Cooper Pass Trail is great fun, and Alpental has tremendous slopes and a friendly staff. So much fun stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range, too great to be true. There are other places here than Joe Lake, for example Alaska Lake; nearby Alta Pass is a delightful site to go.
This lake is so wonderful. At Joe Lake you can observe Alaska Mountain, and after a long day outdoors Suncadia Resort is a fine spot to spend a night or two. All the water falling down from the sky makes Joe Lake a wet place; the wettest month of the year is mostly January, that's the one that rains the most; July on the other hand is the driest.
