    Why not stop by Jim Johnson Lake if you're passing through these parts. Jim Johnson Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range. Jim Johnson Lake is pretty dehydrated regularly; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Chewuch River is a good whitewater spot near Jim Johnson Lake, and you can stay the night at Sportsman Motel.
At Jim Johnson Lake during
 
   the summer highs are in the 80's, and the overnight is somewhat cooler of course, frequently in the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Jim Johnson Lake are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. A quick spree to Twisp River close to Jim Johnson Lake is a nice idea; why not take a refreshing hike along the Bluff Lake Trail. You assume that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Take a hike on the Pearrygin  
               Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Jim Johnson Lake has to offer, you can camp at Riverbend RV Park.
All year is a perfect time in the Northern Cascade Range if you love the outdoors. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not check out Bonner Lake right next door to Jim Johnson Lake; if you're a golfer then a great nearby course is Bear Creek Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the brilliant skiing at Echo Valley. So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range, too tremendous to be true. Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Cathedral Driveway, and you can run the rapids of Methow River.
You'll come across a delightful lake called Lamotte Pond near Jim Johnson Lake, and skiing at Loup Loup Ski Bowl is one of those things you just should do.

Pearrygin Lake State Park is a 962-acre camping park in the Methow Valley in north central Washington. The park features expansive green lawns leading to 11,000 feet of waterfront on Pearrygin Lake. The lake offers swimming, fishing and boating. Old willows and ash provide shade on hot summer days. 165 campsites, 97 electrical and water service sites (70 of these with sewer hookups), 68 standard sites.
