Jess Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range. Jess Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; January is when you get the most snow here; July is when it's the driest. The warmest time of the year at Jess Lake comes with high temperatures in the 60's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and       winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Jess Lake. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Jess Lake you can take a hike along the Cramer Lake Trail, and Jess Lake is a pleasant location to visit for more than one day, White Pass Campground is a pleasant location to camp nearby. A day on the slopes of White Pass is just what you need. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Jess Lake has to offer, you can camp at Knuppenburg Lake Campground.                  If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Northern Cascade Range. Summit Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby; if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Twin Sisters Trail. All the outdoors entertaining things right next door to Jess Lake will keep you coming back again and again. You can make out Cramer Mountain from Jess Lake; do check out Pipe Lake, it's a picturesque lake. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Cowlitz River - Clear Fork is so much fun, and you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Jug Lake Trail. If you're here, you might as well stop by Cowlitz Pass, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Crystal Mountain is relatively near. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things in the Northern Cascade Range.
