If you are in this part of Washington make sure to pay a visit to Jefferson Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Olympic Mountains. Jefferson Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is commonly December, that's the one that rains the most while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There are some delightful whitewater spots on Jefferson Creek, and do check out Maple Creek since you're here at Jefferson

This lake is so wonderful. Having a glorious time in the Olympic Mountains is easy. If you need a site to stay Super 8 Motel - Shelton is a splendid choice; Jefferson Lake is not the only location close by, Goober Pond is a close by lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in close proximity to Jefferson Lake. Creek Trail is always a glorious adventure.
During the summertime months highs here at Jefferson Lake get into the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally
in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Jefferson Lake. There are great sites to discover along the Baldy Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Hamma Hamma River. This lake is so wonderful. Jefferson Lake
is a place with many visitors from Shelton, and if you came to camp Lilliwaup Creek Campground is a fine location to do that.
You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the Olympic Mountains has to offer. There
is a fine hiking trail in the vicinity of Jefferson Lake called the Mount Jupiter Trail, and Jefferson Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Lena Creek Campground is a brilliant local campground.
