This lake is one of the great places here in the Olympic Mountains. And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool stuff just keep reading. A delightful close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - Shelton, and camping is available at Lilliwaup Creek Campground. The high level of precipitation makes Jefferson Lake a reasonably wet spot; through the month of December you get the most rain around here, and July on the other       hand is the driest. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in the Olympic Mountains will keep you coming back time and again. Why not camp at Lena Creek Campground if you're here at Jefferson Lake, and wonderful hiking is available along the Royal Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the pleasant whitewater of Hamma Hamma River. All through the days of summer, highs mostly are in the 70's at Jefferson Lake, and all through summer                  nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Jefferson Lake temperatures dip to the 30's. Lakes? Sure, Upper Jefferson Lake is nearby; hiking is a popular thing to do around Jefferson Lake; Baldy Trail is a great local trail. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular location for folks from Shelton; you can go for a hike on the Mount Jupiter Trail. If you need a site to stay Alderbrook Resort And Spa is a fine choice, and Goober Pond is a magnificent lake nearby. Yeah, come up here to the Olympic Mountains for a perfect time.
