You'll locate a picturesque lake called Heins Lake near Jarstad Lake; Jarstad Lake is not far at all from Bremerton-Silverdale. This lake is so wonderful. Jarstad Lake gets a large amount of water; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain; the driest month is July.

There's so much to do here at Jarstad Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Carrington Mobile Home and RV Park is a good place for that. Looking for some flowing water? Try Anderson Creek; if you came to camp Erland Point Mobile Home Park is a pleasant spot to do that.

This lake is so wonderful. Jarstad Lake Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out; a golf course close by is McCormick Woods Golf Course. High temperatures at Jarstad Lake throughout the warmest time of the year are in the
70's, and the overnight is rather cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's. Through the winter the highs are generally in the 40's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Jarstad Lake temperatures sink to the 30's. Comfort Inn & Suites is a fine spot to get some rest; get soaked paddling on Dosewallips River.
