There's whitewater on Lake Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff at Lake Janus. You can run the rapids of Little Wenatchee River near Lake Janus, and do take a hike on the Kennedy Ridge Trail. This place, the Northern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors fun things. There's so much to do here at Lake Janus that you need to camp here for a while, Theseus Creek Campground       is a great place for that; almost certainly you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Lake Valhalla is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Janus has to offer, you can camp at Little Wenatchee Ford Campground, and Union Gap is undeniably a magnificent location to explore. Lake Janus is right by the Lake Michael Trail, of course you could also visit Dow Lake while you're here; it's                  not far at all. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. So much exciting stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range, not enough time. Dry warm beds await you at Howard Johnson Snoqualmie/Summit, and you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Glacier Ridge Trail. Lake Janus frequently gets much rain; the month with most of the snow is January, and the driest of the months is July. Jove Peak is a peak you can catch a glimpse of from Lake Janus, and Stephens Pass has magnificent slopes and a friendly staff. Summer brings highs in the 60's to Lake Janus, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's.
