The beauty of Jakes Lake attracts many people from all around. The sight of beautiful Alpine Baldy near Jakes Lake is brilliant; a magnificent place to camp here at Jakes Lake is Tye Canyon Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Put some time aside to spend at Alpine Falls while you're here at Jakes Lake; in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Martin Creek. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy

| | all the fun stuff at Jakes Lake. Jakes Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Tye River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Jakes Lake; Cooper Pass Trail is a magnificent local trail. come on down to Jakes Lake. Carroll Creek flows through this area, and what would winter be without some skiing at Stephens Pass. Good hiking is available along the Lake Michael Trail, as expected you could also have a look at Jewel
Lakes while you're here; it's not far at all. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range, not sufficient time. Places like Mount Fernow Potholes are great to check out; if you need a location to stay Suncadia Resort
is a fine choice. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Northern Cascade Range. Jakes Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Deception Creek Campground is a glorious local campground; don't leave Jakes
Lake without first going for a hike along the Escondido Trail. At Jakes Lake all through the days of summer highs are in the 70's, and the night is a bit cooler of course, generally in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the
40's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Jakes Lake temperatures sink to the 30's. The high level of rain makes Jakes Lake a relatively wet site; most of the rain falls through December; July on the other hand is the driest.
