You need to stop by Colchuck Glacier since you're here at Isolation Lake, and camping at Eightmile Lake Campground is always a nice experience. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. The Enchantment Peaks towers over Isolation Lake, and a magnificent place to camp here at Isolation Lake is Bridge Creek Campground. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Northern Cascade Range. Lots of people from Ellensburg come to       Isolation Lake. Isolation Lake typically gets much rain; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily January, that's the one that snows the most; July is the month with the least moisture. Whitewater paddling is great on Teanaway River - North Fork; great hiking is available along the County Line Trail. Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not take a look at Perfection Lake close to Isolation Lake, and there's great hiking along the Miller Peak Trail. Life's                  too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff near Isolation Lake. Cascade Creek is a pleasant place to go to, and a glorious spot nearby is Colchuck Pass. So much exciting stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range, not enough time. You get a great vista of Cannon Mountain from Isolation Lake; after a long day outdoors Quality Inn & Suites is a great location to spend a night or two. This site, the Northern Cascade Range, has so much outdoors fun things. There are other spots here than Isolation Lake, for example Tranquil Lake; hiking is a popular thing to do around Isolation Lake; Icicle Trail is a great local trail. High temperatures at Isolation Lake during the warm days of summer are in the 60's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. For the duration of the winter the highs are typically in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Isolation Lake temperatures sink to the 10's. Do take a look at Colchuck Lake Dam since you're here at Isolation Lake, and in the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Icicle Creek.
