Isolation Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range. If you need a location to stay Best Western Icicle Inn is a delightful choice, and nearby Colchuck Pass is a fine location to go. At Isolation Lake you always meet someone from Ellensburg; you can have a great hiking adventure along the County Line Trail. Do visit Perfection Lake right next door to Isolation Lake, it's a wonderful lake, and if the       weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Icicle Trail. What a place this is for outdoors folks. A nice location to camp here at Isolation Lake is Bridge Creek Campground, and you can run the rapids of Icicle Creek. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Northern Cascade Range. The summits of the Enchantment Peaks add much beauty to the neighborhood around Isolation Lake, and Enchantment Basin is a good site. Through the long                  summer days here at Isolation Lake, high temperatures frequently get into the 60's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Isolation Lake. And that's not everything you can do here in the Northern Cascade Range. Colchuck Lake Dam is worth visiting while you're here. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the vicinity of Isolation Lake. Quality Inn & Suites is a tremendous location to get some rest, and as expected Cascade Creek is a scenic stream that is worth checking out. This lake is so wonderful. Teanaway River - North Fork is a delightful whitewater spot near Isolation Lake; since you're here you can take a hike along the Miller Peak Trail. The high level of rainfall makes Isolation Lake a relatively wet site; throughout the month of January you get the most snow around here, and July on the other hand is the driest. So many cool things in the Northern Cascade Range, just striking. A beautiful lake like Tranquil Lake next to Isolation Lake is a nice place to take a look at; here at Isolation Lake you can see Cannon Mountain. This lake is so wonderful.
