Many people like to go to Island Lake. Camping at We and U Mobile Home and RV Park is always a great experience, and some of the water nearby flows, like Coffee Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Lake Limerick Country Club, and there's whitewater on Jefferson Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers. What a site this is for outdoors people. Don't leave Island Lake without first paying a visit to

| | Shelton Springs; Super 8 Motel - Shelton is a pleasant site to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Johns Lake; there are some good whitewater spots on Skokomish River - South Fork. During the summer, highs typically are in the 70's at Island Lake, and the night is slightly colder of course, usually in the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are typically in the 40's | |

while Island Lake overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 30's.
There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Olympic Mountains. While you're here at Island Lake it's a great idea to pop by Johns Prairie. Lakes?
Sure, Turtle Lake is around here. This lake is located in the wonderful Olympic Mountains. Island Lake is a wet place that gets a lot of rain; December is the wettest month with most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture.
You'll meet a lot of people from Shelton here; Rosand Dam is a pretty site. So much cool stuff to do in the Olympic Mountains, not enough time. Dry warm beds await you at Alderbrook Resort And Spa, and Island Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Pines Trailer and Recreational is a brilliant local campground.
