Island Lake is always a pleasure to visit. If you have a thing about the outdoors you'll have a thing about it here in the Olympic Mountains. Shelton Springs is a gorgeous site to stop at while you're at Island Lake; camping at Pines Trailer and Recreational is always a glorious experience. Drift down the rapids of Skokomish River - South Fork in a kayak, and there are plenty of folks from Shelton here at Island Lake. Island Lake is one of the lakes here in the

This lake is so wonderful. Super 8 Motel - Shelton is a splendid place to get some rest, and camping is available at We and U Mobile Home and RV Park. Throughout the summertime highs here at Island Lake reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Prairie is a gorgeous spot any time of year. Island Lake is a pretty wet place ordinarily with a lot of rain; the wettest month of the year is regularly December, that's the one that rains the most; July on the other hand is the driest.
Coffee Creek is a great place to visit. Lakes? Sure, Goose Lake is around here.
