Hoot Creek is a fine place to take a look at, and Erland Point Mobile Home Park is a pleasant campground here. The high level of rain makes Island Lake a rather wet spot; the wettest month of the year is usually December, that's the one that rains the most while July is regularly the driest month. Having a pleasant time at Island Lake is painless. Oxford Suites Silverdale is a delightful site to get some       rest. This lake is so wonderful. Near Island Lake you hit upon a golf course called Rolling Hills Golf Course; if you need a place to stay Poulsbo Inn is a fine choice. People from Bremerton-Silverdale love to come to Island Lake, and Island Lake is a pleasant location to camp, Carrington Mobile Home and RV Park is a pleasant location. Here at Island Lake you can distinguish Bucklin Hill; Big Quilcene River has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby. High                  temperatures at Island Lake during the summer are in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's.
