Many people like to go to Inman Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Comfort Inn Lacey is a splendid choice; if you came for an overnight stay Martin way Mobile Home Park is a good place to camp. Why not camp at Nisqually Plaza RV Park if you're here at Inman Lake, and a great place for whitewater paddling is Nisqually River. There are other sites here than Inman Lake, for example Lake Fifteen, and get your heart pumping on the magnificent

| | whitewater of Deschutes River. So many entertaining things to do here in the Northern Cascade Range, too great to be true. A pleasant tour to Ruth Prairie is a tremendous way to spend an afternoon, and there are plenty of folks from Olympia here at Inman Lake. All year is a nice time in the Northern Cascade Range if you love the outdoors. A round of golf at nearby Nisqually Valley Golf Course is a great way to kill some time. Inman Lake, so little time. Gehrke Lake is a great lake near Inman Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Ocean Shores, Wa. Throughout the long summer days highs here at Inman Lake get into the 70's, and during
summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Through the winter highs are typically in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Inman Lake temperatures sink to the 30's. Inman Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range.
Inman Lake is a pretty wet place commonly with a great deal of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is mostly December, that's the one that rains the most, and July is the month with the least moisture.

Nisqually River
 | ... (27 now). The thing you should know about the Nisqually is that it is like most rivers, every year there is something new and unexpected. There are a few notable obstacles and log jams that have stuck over the past ten years or so. One of them is between McKenna and the Nisqually railroad trestle. It has been there as long as I can remember. But the river isn't too fast there and you should have plenty of time to get outta the way. The other problems are further down the river, the log jams that are past the Nisqually pines aren't too bad. Most of them are so far up on the river bank that only a few trees hang into the river ( not to say that there are none of them.) But the problem is that you raft right under the cliffs on FT. Lewis. They seem to like to throw cars off the cliffs and watch them hit the water.. Or this is a good way to dispose of stolen cars.. Because the water just churns and turns these cars into a spiky nightmare for the rafters and tubers of the Nisqually. I have yet to see one person go over the cars and not instantly blow there raft apart.. Just keep a good e... |
