For the duration of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's while Independence Lake nighttime low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 30's. Take a little tour to Coal Creek if you're here at Independence Lake. There's so much to do here at Independence Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Perry Creek Campground is a pleasant       site for that. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! The Northern Cascade Range is excellent! There's whitewater on Stillaguamish River - South Fork for all you adrenaline kick people; why not head up to Stephens Pass and strap some skis to your feet. Independence Lake is one of the lakes here in the Northern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. And that's not all you can do here at Independence Lake. A lake nearby is Windon Lake, and going                  for a hike on the Meadow Mountain Trail is always a splendid adventure. Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Sauk River, and you can go for a hike on the Finney Peak Trail. Independence Lake typically gets a great deal of rain; November is when you get the most rain here while July is typically the driest month. At Independence Lake you can distinguish Devils Peak, and nearby you locate the Lost Creek Ridge Trail which is a great hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful.
