For the period of the months of summer at Image Lake highs are mostly in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 20's for Image Lake. If you came for an overnight stay White River Falls Campground is a nice place to camp; Dusty Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth taking a look at. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff

| | in the Northern Cascade Range. Hiking along the Sulphur Mountain Way is splendid fun, and camping is available at Phelps Creek Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not check out Canyon Lake right next door to Image Lake; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Icicle Inn. Totem Pass is a fine location to take a look at nearby, and whitewater paddling is great on Little Wenatchee River. So much exciting stuff in the | |

Northern Cascade Range, just striking. You'll find a scenic lake called Bannock Lakes near Image Lake, and Image Lake is right by the Pacific Crest Trail - section 26. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern
Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. What a site this is for outdoors folks. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Miners Creek Trail, and if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Downey
Creek. Image Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; during the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is July.

Napeequa Crossing Campground
 | 15 miles away Well, most of the information in this little blurb is wrong: The nearest Metro area is not Ellensburg, it is Leavenworth. Lake Elsley? I have never heard of it, and have been in the area for 30 years. There is no such place called Indian Ponds anywhere around the campground. Though a beautiful hike, Napeequa Crossing to Twin Lakes is not an easy stroll, it is approximately 3.2+ miles one way, with many switchbacks, and to the average city person, a hard slog. This Article makes it sound like White river falls are on the way to Twin Lakes, which they are not. They are reached by driving on up the valley 5 more miles or so to the correct turnout. Also, it should be mentioned that from the beginning of camping season till Mid August, you should slather yourself in Bug repellant to keep from being eaten alive by Mosquitoes. The campground is located on the confluence of the White and Napeequa Rivers, which flow into Lake Wenatchee.... |
