In Washington there are many beautiful lakes, Image Lake is one of them. All the outdoors fun things in the Northern Cascade Range will keep you coming back time and again. Totem Pass is a great site to spend some time at, and if you've had enough of Image Lake, Bannock Lakes is close by. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range. Camping at Phelps Creek Campground is always a good experience, of course you could also stop by Canyon Lake

| | if you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range. Image Lake usually gets a good deal of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest of the months is July. Dusty Creek is a nice local stream, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Image Lake; Sulphur Mountain Way is a perfect local trail. This lake is so wonderful. Creek; a perfect nearby hotel is Best Western Icicle Inn. This lake is so wonderful. Little Wenatchee River is a pleasant whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Image Lake; you can go for a hike on the Miners Creek Trail. Image Lake
in fact is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. Camping is available at White River Falls Campground; great hiking is available along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 26. For the period of the warmest time of the year
at Image Lake temperatures are frequently in the 70's, and the overnight is rather colder of course, frequently in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Image Lake temperatures plunge to the 20's.

 | 15 miles away Well, most of the information in this little blurb is wrong: The nearest Metro area is not Ellensburg, it is Leavenworth. Lake Elsley? I have never heard of it, and have been in the area for 30 years. There is no such place called Indian Ponds anywhere around the campground. Though a beautiful hike, Napeequa Crossing to Twin Lakes is not an easy stroll, it is approximately 3.2+ miles one way, with many switchbacks, and to the average city person, a hard slog. This Article makes it sound like White river falls are on the way to Twin Lakes, which they are not. They are reached by driving on up the valley 5 more miles or so to the correct turnout. Also, it should be mentioned that from the beginning of camping season till Mid August, you should slather yourself in Bug repellant to keep from being eaten alive by Mosquitoes. The campground is located on the confluence of the White and Napeequa Rivers, which flow into Lake Wenatchee.... |
