The high level of precipitation makes Ice Lake a reasonably wet place; December is the wettest month with most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. Having a good time in the Northern Cascade Range is easy. Frozen Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at; a glorious spot to pop by close by is Hemlock Pass.
Glide down the rapids of Dingford

Creek in a kayak; going for a hike on the Pratt Lake Trail is always a good adventure. And if that's not sufficient, there's a load more to do in close proximity to Ice Lake. Get covered with water paddling on Snoqualmie River - Middle Fork, and there are good spots to look at along the Annette Lake Trail.
All through the months of summer, highs typically are in the 70's at Ice Lake; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime

are mostly in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Ice Lake temperatures descend to the 30's. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun things the Northern Cascade Range has to offer. Some good nature is available in North Bend Ranger District; gorgeous scenery and great skiing is what you obtain at Snoqualmie. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Ice Lake, you could also stop by nearby Kaleetan Lake, and Commonwealth Campground is a great campground nearby.
Gotta ski! Alpental is a great place to do that, and after a long day outdoors Howard Johnson Snoqualmie/Summit is a glorious site to spend a night or two. If only every site had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great planet it would be. Bryant Peak is beautiful and can be observed from Ice Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Salish Lodge And Spa. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Middle Fork Trail, and you can stay the night at West Fork Campground.

From the steep and deep to the high-speed buffed-out cruisers, from our gentle learning areas to our benchmark parks and pipe, diversity is a way of life around here. With four unique base areas and less than an hour from Seattle on Interstate 90, no other resort in the country offers so much variety with this much convenience. For the third year in a row, we stayed open longer than any other resort in the state, this season through Memorial Day. What can we say? We love spring skiing as much as you do!

Honey Lake
The lake no longer has any trails to it. All trails are gone from nature reclaiming it. The only way into lake is through quartz creek road(no vehicles)2.5 miles. From there it is a bushwack up to the ridge(2000 ft). From the ridge you can see honey lake. 1000 feet down. The bush is thick in that area (45 degree angle going up and down(or it seem that steep). 15 years ago some guys fished out the lake in one day. Before tha the fish were between 18 to 24 inches rainbow. If you can make it you deserve the good fishing. Haven't fished there in 20 years it may not have any fish in it or it has big fish (I dont know never made it close enough recently to fish). Good luck. ...

This peak is trailless, meaning a portion or all of the route up the mountain is via an unmarked trail. For this particular mountain, the typical route is known as a ''herd path'' which is not much more than a worn, but unmarked trail. Some of the herd paths are easy to follow, others are not. In many instances the hiker will travel down a false herd path and eventually have to correct his/her course via backtracking. For these particular mountains, it is imperative that the hiker carry a compass (and know how to use it) and topographic map....

Bonney lake Is not trained. It is drained in the winter, who ever runs the dam doesn't man it in winter so they let it drain. There was talk that they would not fill it any more....Just heard that Bonnie Lake is drained in the winter and then refilled in the Spring. Can you tell me why?...

Stephens Pass

Stevens has a wide diversity of trails and runs that suits every riding style. From beginner to expert and for those terrain park junkies Stevens has you covered. I think what's special about Stevens is you can find your own little part of the mountain which is all yours, I have 4-5 little runs that cross between trails and off-piste that are all mine. Also the snow is crazy good, powder almost all the time. My favorite runs are Orion, some tree skiing near wall street, and right above the power lines. Stevens also has some pretty sweet out of bounds stuff to so check it out...
