Howell Lake in fact is in the middle of a scenic outdoors paradise. Paddling on Duckabush River is so much fun; going for a hike on the Mount Jupiter Trail is always a pleasant                  adventure. All the water falling down from the sky makes Howell Lake a wet location; through December this area sees the most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. During the long summer days at Howell Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Howell Lake are in the 30's.
