Stay the night at Smitty's Trailer Park; paddling on Big Quilcene River is so much fun. There is a tremendous hiking trail close to Horseshoe Lake called the Mount Zion Trail; if you need a site to stay Inn At Port Hadlock is a delightful
choice. Yep, outdoors fun things truly is plentiful here in the Olympic Mountains. Near Horseshoe Lake you come across the Bear Mountain Trail which is a good hiking trail.
