There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Horseshoe Lake. Best Western Oak Meadows Inn is a great place to get some rest, and Horseshoe Lake is not the only location close by, Lancaster Lake is a close by lake. Horseshoe Lake gets a lot of water; December is the month that gets the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps like Goerig Slough       are fun to visit. There's so much to do here at Horseshoe Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Woodland Shores RV Park is a great place for that. The warmest time of the year at Horseshoe Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are frequently in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Horseshoe Lake. Dry warm beds await you at                  Kalama River Inn, and if you came to camp Columbia Riverfront RV Park is a glorious location to do that. A lake close by is Mud Lake, and since you're here you must go to Cardai Hill. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Horseshoe Lake; Georges Peak Trail is a great local trail. Float down the rapids of Kalama River in a kayak, and if you're looking for a beach close by we recommend Lyons Beach.
