On a brilliant day at Horseshoe Lake you can take a hike along the Icicle Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Eightmile Lake Campground is a wonderful place to camp. During the summer months at Horseshoe Lake temperatures are usually in the 60's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures at Horseshoe Lake dipping       down into the 10's through winter nights. A lake nearby is Jack Lake. Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range. While you're here at Horseshoe Lake you can take a hike along the County Line Trail, and after a long day outdoors Stewart Lodge is a magnificent place to spend a night or two. And that's not all there is to do here in the Northern Cascade Range. Stuart Pass is near Horseshoe Lake and is absolutely a good place to visit; Eightmile Mountain                  is clearly visible from Horseshoe Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The Jolly Mountain Lookout Trail is a splendid hiking trail in close proximity to Horseshoe Lake; Horseshoe Lake is not the only location nearby, Lake Stuart is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Horseshoe Lake there are plenty of people from Ellensburg, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Teanaway River - North Fork. Get drenched paddling on Icicle Creek; Trout Lake Campground is a pleasant campground nearby. If you need a site to stay Best Western Snowcap Lodge is a tremendous choice; Ice Cliff Glacier is an interesting thing to make out if you're here. Horseshoe Lake is a beautiful lake in the Northern Cascade Range.
