Going for a hike along the Fire Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and you'll find a gorgeous lake called Downey Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Meadow Mountain Trail is magnificent fun, and in the event that you don’t have a problem       getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Downey Creek. Summertime at Horse Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. During the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Horse Lake are in the 30's. Just can't get enough of Horse Lake. Horse Lake is right by the Sulphur Mountain Way; if you came to camp Downey Creek Campground is a wonderful place to do that.                  Horse Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Stephens Pass while you're here; whitewater paddling is good on Suiattle River. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Northern Cascade Range. Camping at Sulphur Creek Campground is always a great experience; since you're here, you could also take a look at wonderful Box Mountain Lakes. So many amusing things in the Northern Cascade Range, just inspiring.
