The beauty of Horse Lake is reason enough to stop by. La Quinta Inn Wenatchee is a tremendous place to get some rest, and camping at Wenatchee River County Park is always a delightful experience. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Wenatchee Mountains. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Wenatchee, Wa is a glorious choice, and paddling on Entiat River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful.

| | days of summer here at Horse Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 40's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's while Horse Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. Man, is there heaps of entertaining stuff to do next to Horse Lake. Playing golf is lots of fun at Mt. Cashmere Golf Course, and a good place to camp here at Horse Lake is Self's Trailer Park. | |

These mountains rock, just check out all the exciting stuff to do in the Wenatchee Mountains. Going for a hike on the High Creek Trail is always a great adventure; whitewater paddling is great on Wenatchee River.
This lake is
so wonderful. The skiing at Mission Ridge is brilliant, and close by you hit upon the Red Hill Trail which is a delightful hiking trail. The Wenatchee Mountains scenery is always beautiful. The Devils Gulch Trail is a splendid hiking
trail near Horse Lake, and folks from Wenatchee love to come here.
From a rainfall point of view Horse Lake is a rather typical site; all through the month of December you get the most snow around here while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
