Horse Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Through the long summer days here at Horse Lake, high temperatures typically reach the 80's with night lows in the 40's. During the wintertime highs are generally in the 30's, and night lows at Horse Lake during the winter usually fall into the 10's. Horse Lake is one of the lakes here in the Wenatchee Mountains. Camping at Self's Trailer Park is always a glorious experience, and Mt. Cashmere

This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant nearby hotel is La Quinta Inn Wenatchee, and the Red Hill Trail offers hiking at its best. You clearly have to fancy the Wenatchee Mountains. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express Wenatchee, Wa is a good choice; Horse Lake is right by the High Creek Trail. is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Wenatchee River County Park is a pleasant local campground, and there are plenty of people from Wenatchee here.
Skiing at Mission Ridge is one of those things you just have to do,
and paddling on Wenatchee River is so much fun. The yearly rainfall here at Horse Lake is about average; December is the wettest month with most snow, and July is when it's the driest. Man, is there loads of amusing things to do in
the Wenatchee Mountains. There's wonderful hiking along the Devils Gulch Trail, and float down the rapids of Entiat River in a kayak.
This lake is so wonderful.
