Horse Lake is located in the Wenatchee Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. The cheerful folks of Wenatchee like to hang out close by; a wonderful place for whitewater paddling is Entiat River. So much exciting stuff to do at Horse Lake, so little time. If the weather is fine here at Horse Lake, you can go for a hike along the Red Hill Trail; after a long day outdoors La Quinta Inn Wenatchee is a perfect place to       spend a night or two. Horse Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rain; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow, and July is the month with the least moisture. You can run the rapids of Wenatchee River close to Horse Lake, and a fine nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Wenatchee, Wa. But wait, there's more fun things to do in the Wenatchee Mountains. Horse Lake is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Self's Trailer Park is                  a great spot to camp nearby; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at close by HH Reservoir Number 2. This lake is so wonderful. This is a perfect neighborhood for people who like lakes. H and H Reservoir Number Two is a lake close by; if you're a golfer then a wonderful close by course is Mt. Cashmere Golf Course. During the summertime highs here at Horse Lake get into the 80's; the nighttime is a bit cooler of course, ordinarily in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while Horse Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. Having a pleasant time in the Wenatchee Mountains is painless. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mission Ridge if you're here, and the High Creek Trail is a nice hiking trail close by.
