If you are traveling by, why not stop by Hood Street Reservoir. The high level of rainfall makes Hood Street Reservoir a rather wet place; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the fine whitewater of Nisqually River, and you have to explore City Waterway when you're here. nearby. A tremendous place to check out near Hood Street Reservoir is Old Womens Gulch, and a tremendous site to camp here at Hood Street Reservoir is Oaknoll RV Park. Why not camp at Rainier Villa Mobile Park and RV if you're
here at Hood Street Reservoir, and Courtyard By Marriott Tacoma Downtown is a magnificent location to get some rest. Throughout the summer highs here at Hood Street Reservoir get into the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures
are in the 50's. Highs through the winter are usually in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Hood Street Reservoir temperatures fall to the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Hood Street Reservoir Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out.
