City Waterway is in close proximity to Hood Street Reservoir and is a pleasant place to stop by, and Old Womens Gulch is another good location to visit close by. The high level of precipitation makes Hood Street Reservoir a quite wet spot; the month with most of the rain is December; the driest month of the year is July. After a long day outdoors Hotel Murano is a great spot to spend       a night or two; Hood Street Reservoir Dam is a place that is near Hood Street Reservoir. A nice site for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Hood Street Reservoir is Nisqually River, and playing golf is lots of fun at Pacific Lutheran University PLU Golf Course. So much exciting stuff to do here at Hood Street Reservoir, too great to be true. Nothing beats kicking back at Caledonia Beach, and a brilliant nearby hotel is Courtyard By Marriott Tacoma Downtown.                  Rainier Villa Mobile Park and RV is a pleasant local campground, and as expected, this is a delightful region for folks who like lakes, Alaska Street Reservoir North is a lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Little Wapato Lae; you'll meet a lot of folks from Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue here. During the summer here at Hood Street Reservoir, high temperatures mostly reach the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 40's with temperatures at Hood Street Reservoir dipping down into the 30's through winter nights.
