Not far from Homestead Lake, you'll locate Sacheen Lake which is a striking lake; Jerry's Landing Resort is a wonderful local campground. Summer at Homestead Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.       Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's with temperatures at Homestead Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. You feel that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Looking for some flowing water? Try Moon Creek, and close by you find good places like Rogers Pass. Not much rain falls here at Homestead Lake; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow, and July is when it's the driest.
