There are other sites here than Hole Lakes, for example Isaacson Lake, and a swamp like Turnbull Slough right next door to Hole Lakes has lots of interesting things to see. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Hole Lakes has to offer, you can camp at Peaceful Pines Camp Ground,       and if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Hangman Creek. Hole Lakes gets very little precipitation; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful.
