If you are traveling by, why not stop by Hilt Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Sauk River; let's not forget Flume Creek which is a stream that you may bump into while you're here. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Hilt Lake. Get your heart pumping on the delightful whitewater of Illabot Creek;

All the water falling down from the sky makes Hilt Lake a wet place; the month with most of the rain is November while July is regularly the driest month. You're most likely into lakes, Caskey Lake is one of those nearby; Best Western Sky Valley Inn, Monroe is a nice spot to get some rest. sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Hilt Lake temperatures plunge to the 30's. Life's too short to enjoy all the
entertaining things in the Northern Cascade Range. Lakes are delightful; Barnaby Slough Number Two is a lake that's close to Hilt Lake; if you came to camp Clark's Skagit River Resort is a great site to do that. There's so much to
do here at Hilt Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Dearinger Campground is a delightful location for that, and you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the Gee Point Trail. So much exciting stuff in the Northern Cascade Range, just striking.
