Many people like to go to Highwood Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on Ruth Creek, and Austin Pass is a pleasant place to pop by. At Highwood Lake you can see Mount Hermann, and if you came to camp Hannegan Campground is a splendid site to do that. So many fun things to do in the Northern Cascade Range, not sufficient time. There's so much to do here at Highwood Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Shuksan Campground is a tremendous
site for that, and don’t forget to stop by Heather Meadows if you're here at Highwood Lake.

Paddling on Nooksack River - North Fork is so much fun, and Huntoon Point is a great spot to check out while in the region.
