    A visit to Highwood Lake is always a good idea. For the duration of the summertime months at Highwood Lake highs are commonly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are regularly in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Highwood Lake temperatures fall to the 30's.    Lake is a nice site to visit for more than one day, Shuksan Campground is a nice site to camp nearby. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range.
Get dripping wet paddling on Nooksack River - North Fork. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Highwood Lake has to offer, you can camp at Hannegan Campground. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the Northern Cascade Range has to offer. Near Highwood

Highwood Lake gets a great deal of water; through November this area sees the most rain while July is typically the driest month. After a long day outdoors Snowwater Condos is a delightful location to spend a night or two, and Huntoon Point is something you shouldn't miss since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. You can catch a glimpse of Mount Hermann from Highwood Lake; a trip to Heather Meadows revitalizes the spirit.
