This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. All year is a fine time in the Northern Cascade Range if you love the outdoors. Going for a hike along the Cougar Way will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and as expected, this is a glorious region for folks who like lakes, Little Goose Lake is a lake in close proximity. | | splendid place to spend a night or two, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit close by Lake Wapiki. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Lusk Creek Trail; you can stay the night at Cultus Creek Campground. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Northern Cascade Range. time of year, Lewis River - North Fork offers some perfect whitewater. There's so much to do here at Hidden Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Little Goose Campground is a magnificent place for that. All through the warmest
time of the year at Hidden Lake temperatures are commonly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Hidden Lake are in the
20's. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff right next door to Hidden Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Lewis River - North Fork, and do take a hike on the East Crater Trail.
The high level of precipitation makes Hidden Lake a rather wet site; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow; the driest of the months is July.

 | 10 miles away Hi, I have tried to climb this mountain, but the there are very little trail markers and the Columbian write ups on directions were not even close to actuality. I am trying to locate specific directions since there are several different forks. You have all these coordinates but if you don't have or use a GPS they are useless. Alas, you can't help me anymore than what's available out there, which is nothing really.... |

 | 16 miles away Roundtrip Distance 16 miles Elevation Gain 2,620 ft. This peak is trailless, meaning a portion or all of the route up the mountain is via an unmarked trail. For this particular mountain, the typical route is known as a ''herd path'' which is not much more than a worn, but unmarked trail. Some of the herd paths are easy to follow, others are not. In many instances the hiker will travel down a false herd path and eventually have to correct his/her course via backtracking. For these particular mountains, it is imperative that the hiker carry a compass (and know how to use it) and topographic map.... |
