Summertime highs at Hicks Lake usually tend to be in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. High temperatures all
through the winter are normally in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Hicks Lake descend into the 30's. Nisqually River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by.
