This lake is so wonderful. Whiteman Cove is close at hand and always pleasant to stop at; during your tour here you'll meet some folks from Olympia for sure. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Herron Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Lacey; La Quinta       Inn Olympia Lacey is a nice location to get some rest. Throughout the summertime months at Herron Lake temperatures are commonly in the 70's while night lows are frequently in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 40's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Herron Lake. Herron Lake is a quite wet place usually with a great deal of rain; all through the month of December you get the most rain around here, and                  the driest month is July. You can take a little spree to Whiteman Cove Dam if you're here at Herron Lake, and if you came to camp Camp Colman is a glorious site to do that.
