Sunset Pond is nearby, and King Mountain is clearly visible from Heron Pond. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Bellingham here, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Heritage Inn is a good site to spend a night or two.

outdoors, you'll like Heron Pond. Heron Pond is a splendid location to camp, Bellingham RV Park is a splendid location, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Mt.Baker is quite near.
