Heins Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Dosewallips River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by, and Heins Lake is a glorious location to visit for more than one day, Erland Point Mobile Home Park is a glorious location to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Kitsap Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and needless to say Dickerson Creek flows through this area. All through the summertime highs here at Heins Lake reach the 70's.

| | During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. Highs through the winter are mostly in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Heins Lake temperatures fall to the 30's.

Do go to Alexander Lake Dam if you're here at Heins Lake, and enjoy a round of golf at McCormick Woods Golf Course. And if that's not sufficient, there's a lot more to do in close proximity
to Heins Lake. A lake nearby is Reservoir Number Three, and Heins Lake is a spot with many visitors from Bremerton-Silverdale. All the water falling down from the sky makes Heins Lake a wet spot; December is the month that gets the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture.
