Verlot Campground is a good local campground, and Stillaguamish River - South Fork is a brilliant whitewater spot nearby. That right there is plenty of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range has it all. GuestHouse Inn & Suites M is a splendid location to get some rest, and Heather Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Turlo Campground is a great place to camp       nearby. The high level of rainfall makes Heather Lake a pretty wet site; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is July. The warmest time of the year at Heather Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's, and night lows at Heather Lake through the winter ordinarily dip into the 30's. This lake is                  so wonderful. A magnificent view of delightful Mount Pilchuck is available from Heather Lake; Heather Lake is right by the Gee Point Trail. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Lakes? Sure, Bathtub Lakes is close at hand, and if you need a location to stay Best Western Sky Valley Inn, Monroe is a brilliant choice. Heather Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range. It's a nice idea to go to Benson Creek, it's close to Heather Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Finney Peak Trail.
