If the weather is nice here at Heather Lake, you can go for a hike along the Gee Point Trail, and the peak of Mount Pilchuck can be seen from Heather Lake. Summertime highs at Heather Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's, and the overnight is rather colder of course, generally in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime       at Heather Lake temperatures plunge to the 30's. Heather Lake is located in the Northern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Verlot Campground, and let's not forget Benson Creek which is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here. Nearby lakes? Sure, Summit Lake is right next door to Heather Lake; if you're here you can take a hike along the Finney Peak Trail. Man, is there a load of amusing things to do in the Northern                  Cascade Range. Best Western Sky Valley Inn, Monroe is a good place to get some rest; Stillaguamish River - South Fork is a pleasant whitewater spot nearby. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff close to Heather Lake.
