A visit to Heart Lake is always a good idea. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. So much enjoyable stuff in the Northern Cascade Range, just astonishing. Heart Lake is not the only place close by, Mosquito Lake is a close by lake; Jordan Basin is a nice place to check out. This place is so good, just check out all the cool things to do in the neighborhood of Heart Lake.

| | Pass is close to Heart Lake, and you can stay the night at Knuppenburg Lake Campground. The skiing at Crystal Mountain is great, and don't leave Heart Lake without first going for a hike along the Jordan Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Chambers Lake Campground is a tremendous campground nearby, and you can go for a hike on the Lily Basin Trail.

time of year, Cispus River offers some great whitewater, and going for a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail - section 24 is always a wonderful adventure. So many entertaining things to do at Heart Lake, so little time. Johnson Peak is
clearly visible from Heart Lake, and as expected Saddle Creek is a gorgeous stream that is worth taking a look at. Why not go to Hawkeye Point also if you're here; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then,
we recommend Cowlitz River - Clear Fork.
If time allows, Mount Rainier National Park is a national park worth going to, and if you get bored of Heart Lake you could also check out nearby Goat Lake. Summer at Heart Lake comes with
high temperatures in the 70's. Summer night lows plunge down to the 40's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's; overnight lows in the 20's for Heart Lake. The high level of precipitation makes Heart Lake a pretty wet spot; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow while July is regularly the driest month.
