Take a hike on the Soleduck Trail, and Bridge Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth visiting. Man, is there loads of exciting things to do in the Olympic Mountains. A lake nearby is Haigs Lake; close by you discover tremendous sites like Appleton Pass. All our national parks are great places to go to, and Olympic National Park is no exception; there are plenty       of folks from Port Angeles here at Heart Lake. Head up to Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge and strap some skis to your feet; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Lyre River. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Happy Lake Ridge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and Heart Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Indian Valley Motel and RV Park is a great local campground.                  After a long day outdoors Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort is a delightful spot to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Heart Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Soleduck Campground is a great spot for that. So many cool things to do here in the Olympic Mountains, too brilliant to be true. You can make out Mount Appleton from Heart Lake, and there are some good whitewater spots on Elwha River. All year is a wonderful time in the Olympic Mountains if you go for the outdoors. Heart Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; all through November this area sees the most rain; July on the other hand is the driest. Heart Lake is located in the Olympic Mountains. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Heart Lake. If you need a site to stay Lake Quinault Lodge is a good choice, and don’t forget to take a look at Sol Duc Park if you're here at Heart Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Boulder Lake Trail is splendid fun; Lake Number 8 is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. Summertime highs at Heart Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's.
