     If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Northern Cascade Range. Amey Creek flows through this vicinity, and get covered with water paddling on Canyon Creek - Skagit Tributary. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Cascade Range. Lake Hazard gets a typical amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow, and July is the month with the least moisture.
A journey to Deadhorse Point
 
   near Lake Hazard is always a nice idea; from Lake Hazard you obtain a delightful vista of Last Chance Point. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Lost River is so much fun, and there are other places here than Lake Hazard, for example Eureka Lake. Yep, outdoors fun stuff truly is abundant here in the Northern Cascade Range. Don't leave Lake Hazard without first going for a hike along the Monument Creek Trail, and why not camp at Rattlesnake Campground since you're  
               here at Lake Hazard.
Summer at Lake Hazard comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Lake Hazard are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Sun Mountain Lodge is a great site to spend a night or two. This location is excellent, just explore all the amusing stuff to do close to Lake Hazard. Ferguson Lake is a wonderful lake in the neighborhood of Lake Hazard, and going for a hike on the West Fork Methow Trail is always a good adventure.
Go for a hike on the Driveway Butte Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Rivers Bend Campground is a glorious location to camp.
