    Go to Lake Hazard if you want to go to a nice lake. And if that's not enough there's plenty more entertaining stuff to do in the Northern Cascade Range. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Canyon Creek - Skagit Tributary, and do stop at Amey Creek if you're here at Lake Hazard. Lake Hazard is located in the Northern Cascade Range. At Lake Hazard through the summertime months highs are in the 80's. When the night sets  
   in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are generally in the 30's, and nighttime lows throughout the winter for Lake Hazard tend to be in the 20's.
This lake is so wonderful. Last Chance Point is painless to spot from Lake Hazard; if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Driveway Butte Trail. The amount of rainfall that falls at Lake Hazard is close to the national average; of all the months in a year December
 
               is the one with the most snow, and July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.
You could also check out Eureka Lake while you're here at Lake Hazard; it's close by; on a great day you can take a hike along the Monument Creek Trail. Lake Hazard is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Rattlesnake Campground is a pleasant local campground; if you've had enough of Lake Hazard, Ferguson Lake is nearby. Just can't get enough of the Northern Cascade Range. Camping at Rivers Bend Campground is always a wonderful experience, and going for a hike along the West Fork Methow Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
Be careful coming to Lake Hazard, you might not ever wanna go home again. If you come at the right time of year, Lost River offers some good whitewater, and nearby you hit upon Deadhorse Point.
