The high level of precipitation makes Hazard Lake a reasonably wet place; most of the rain falls during December, and the driest of the months is July. This lake is one of the great places here in the Olympic Mountains. High temperatures at Hazard Lake through the summer months are in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Hazard Lake       dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Tumwater Falls Dam is beautiful and it's near Hazard Lake. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Hazard Lake. If you're a golfer then a magnificent close by course is Tumwater Valley Municipal Golf Course, and if you get bored of Hazard Lake you could also pop by close by Ward Lake. So many exciting things in the Olympic Mountains, just mind-boggling. There's so much to do here                  at Hazard Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Olympia Campgrounds is a glorious spot for that, and if you need a site to stay Quality Inn Olympia is a wonderful choice. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Olympic Mountains. Deschutes River is a wonderful place to take a look at, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Deschutes River. Stay the night at Allimor Carriage Estates, and Hazard Lake is not the only place nearby, Hewitt Lake is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. Countryside Beach is in close proximity to Hazard Lake if you're in a beach type of mood, and Capitol Point is reasonably close.
