The Olympic Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Chehalis River has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot close by, and Hayes Lake is not far at all from Olympia. For the duration of the summer at Hayes Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's while Hayes Lake night low       temperatures during the winter are in the 30's. So many amusing things to do here in the Olympic Mountains, too tremendous to be true. A charming lake like Plummer Lake right next door to Hayes Lake is a magnificent place to pop by, and one of the overriding features of the surroundings of Hayes Lake is Davis Hill. Some of the water close by flows, like China Creek, and Borst Lake Dam has fine water scenery. This lake is so wonderful. Hayes Lake is glorious                  enough to spend more than a day at, Midway RV Park is a glorious local campground, and lakes are such calm places, why not have a look at Fort Borst Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Olequa Creek, and playing golf is lots of fun at Riverside Golf Club. This place rocks, just look at all the fun things to do next to Hayes Lake. A pleasant nearby hotel is Travel Inn Express, and a tremendous spot to camp here at Hayes Lake is Harrison RV/mobile Home Park. Man, is there heaps of enjoyable things to do in the Olympic Mountains. Chehalis Inn is a great location to get some rest, and Salzer Valley is in the neighborhood, and is a tremendous spot.
