A visit to Hayes Lake is always a good idea. Hayes Lake is a rather wet place typically with lots of rain; December is the wettest month with most rain; July is when it's the driest. If you need a location to stay Centralia Days Inn is a nice choice, and camping is available at Harrison RV/mobile Home Park. And that's not all you can do here at Hayes Lake. An interesting thing to explore near Hayes Lake is Borst Lake Dam; Airport Lake is a nearby lake that you

This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Midway RV Park is always a glorious experience, and Salzer Valley is also a delightful place to discover. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Olympic Mountains. Here at Hayes Lake you'll probably meet some folks from Olympia, and whitewater paddling is great on Olequa Creek. checking out, and the panorama of Davis Hill is delightful.
Throughout the warm days of summer highs here at Hayes Lake get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. High temperatures through
the winter are normally in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Hayes Lake dip into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Centralia is a good place to spend
a night or two. Get drenched paddling on Chehalis River, and a round of golf at nearby Riverside Golf Club is a glorious way to kill some time.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Olympic Mountains.
