If you are in this part of Washington make sure to pay a visit to Haven Lake. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area near Haven Lake has to offer. A great sight of scenic South Mountain is available from Haven Lake, and Aristine Creek is close to Haven Lake and is always a delight to go to. You could also take a look at Jackpot Lake if you're here at Haven Lake; it's close by; Brown Creek Campground is a glorious local campground.

have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Vance Creek. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Microtel Inn and Suites-Elma is a splendid spot to spend a night or two, and whitewater paddling
is splendid on Baker Creek.
For the period of the warm months highs here at Haven Lake reach the 70's with overnight lows in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's
to Haven Lake. Haven Lake is a tremendous site to visit for more than one day, Lake Nahwatzel Resort is a tremendous site to camp nearby, and if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Shelton is a good choice. The Olympic Mountains scenery is always beautiful.
