Go to Harden Reservoir if you want to go to a nice lake. Paddling on Lewis River - East Fork is so much fun, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Georges Peak Trail. The Inn at Salmon Creek is a good location to get some rest, and drift down the rapids of Cedar Creek in a kayak. Much rainfall falls at Harden Reservoir; throughout the month of December you get the most rain around here while July is commonly the driest month. Why not camp at Lewis River RV Park since you're here at Harden Reservoir, and a delightful nearby hotel is Best Western Battle Ground Inn & Suites. This lake is so wonderful.

Binford Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop at. And if that's not sufficient, there's a load more to do in the vicinity of Harden Reservoir. A splendid place to camp here at Harden Reservoir is Big Fir Campground and RV
Park; Harden Reservoir is not far at all from Longview-Kelso. Throughout the months of summer at Harden Reservoir highs are mostly in the 70's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. Through the wintertime the highs are usually in the 40's, and night lows in the 30's for Harden Reservoir.
