All the water falling down from the sky makes Happy Lake a wet spot; throughout December this area sees the most rain while July is regularly the driest month. The slopes of Hurricane Ridge Ski Lodge are so inviting noone can resist; going for a hike along the Happy Lake Ridge Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for something       close to Happy Lake? Lake Sutherland is in the neighborhood, and paddling on Elwha River is so much fun. All the outdoors enjoyable things next to Happy Lake will keep you coming back again and again. You're probably into lakes, Mud Lake is one of those nearby; you're sure to run into some nice folks from Port Angeles here. After a long day outdoors Red Lion Hotel Port Angeles is a pleasant location to spend a night or two. There's no way somebody can get                  bored here in the Olympic Mountains. On a wonderful day at Happy Lake you can take a hike along the Soleduck Trail, and some nearby water includes Crystal Creek. High temperatures at Happy Lake during the months of summer are in the 70's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
