The beauty of Hanson Lake is reason enough to stop by. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. At Hanson Lake during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Hanson Lake temperatures sink to the 30's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Don't leave Hanson Lake without first going

| | for a hike along the Gee Point Trail, and a stunning lake like Heather Lake is a delightful spot to stop by.
This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Finney Peak Trail, and Hanson Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Turlo Campground is a good place to camp nearby.
