You'll find a beautiful lake called Meadow Pond near Hansen Lake, and on a beautiful day you obtain a tremendous vista of Boudes Hill from Hansen Lake. Not much rain falls here at Hansen Lake; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow, and July is when it's the driest. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Hansen Lake temperatures plunge to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
