Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Northern Cascade Range. Nearby lakes? Sure, SMC Lake is close to Lake Hancock, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Snoqualmie River       - Middle Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Nor'west Motel and RV Park is a glorious campground nearby; a day on the slopes of Snoqualmie is just what you need. Lake Hancock is right by the Annette Lake Trail, and Howard Johnson Snoqualmie/Summit is a fine site to get some rest. This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Cascade Range. All the outdoors enjoyable things in the Northern Cascade Range will keep you coming back persistently.                  If you need a place to stay Salish Lodge And Spa is a wonderful choice, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Hancock; Mount Defiance Trail is a perfect local trail. For the duration of the summertime months here at Lake Hancock, high temperatures mostly get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 40's while Lake Hancock night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a good nearby course is Cascade Golf Course, of course you could also check out Calligan Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Head up to Alpental and strap some skis to your feet, and if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Snoqualmie River - North Fork.
