     The beauty of Hammond Lake attracts many people from all around. Hammond Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Orondo River Park is a pleasant local campground, and there are other locations here than Hammond Lake, for example Hideaway Lake. Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Hammond Lake. If you need a location to stay Cedars Inn is a delightful choice, and while you're here you will meet lots  
   of folks from close by Wenatchee. This lake is so wonderful. Econo Lodge Wenatchee is a great spot to get some rest; not far from Hammond Lake you'll hit upon Putters Lake which is a picturesque lake.
The warmest time of the year at Hammond Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Hammond Lake. There's so much to do here
 
               at Hammond Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lincoln Rock State Park is a perfect site for that; hey, Rock Island Creek is a glorious local stream. Head up to Mission Ridge and strap some skis to your feet, and while you're here and you like golf, you can go to Rock Island Golf Course.
Hammond Lake is pretty waterless ordinarily; the month with most of the snow is December, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
